Feedback/Concerns
  • Middle School - scheduling difficulties - 3 grade levels trying to access a limited number of computer labs to administer CDTs in 3 content areas 2 times during the school year
  • High School - easier scheduling with laptop carts
  • Middle School & High School - Student absenteeism
  • Time for administration - The majority of students needed two 40 minute periods to complete the assessment
  • High School Level - Some teachers felt middle and end of year administrations would work best (ex. Chemistry)
  • Consider not giving the beginning of the year administration and using results from previous year to help plan beginning of the year instruction
  • Time to review assessment results using one-to-one conferencing (new for many high school teachers)
  • CDTs provided very detailed information for GIEPs and IEPs
  • Teachers liked how the performance reports connect to the SAS materials and resources
  • Be sure to set up appropriate accommodations in the eDirect system for students who need them
